Koggala Lake Boat Safari
Enjoying the boat ride for two three hours in Koggala Lake is one of the most popular activity to do in southern province. There are boat services from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00p.m. That can carry 6 persons for a ride. There is some small island to visit in Koggala Lake. And there is old temple famous for nice paintings and for meditation in the Temple Island. Nice scenery of Birds all around the lake.
Still Fishing
Fishing while you sitting with the help of pole that is attached with a crossbar is called Stilt Fishing. Southern cost is the most famous for this. Mirissa, Koggala, Kaththaluwa and Ahangama mainly focus on this..Fishermen catch small fish using rods and store them in a bag tied on the pole or to their waist. Man should need a good balance for this activity.
